Hermione had wanted a costume that was sexy. She was sick of being called the bookworm and Miss Know it all. She had spent a long time deciding what she should wear to the party and had finally decided on the costume looking back at her from the mirror in the Gryffindor Tower.
She was a cheerleader. She wore a red and blue very short kilt that came down below her knickers (just barely), a matching sleeveless shirt that was form fitting, and had one red and one blue pom-pom. Hermione felt nervous to be going out of the tower dressed like this but it was Halloween, the time to be someone else for one night.
Hermione slowly took a deep breath and the crawled through the portrait hole for the Fat Lady. She made her way down to the hall and stepped through the open doors.
Hermione instantly noticed a few of the other girls and some of the boys. The girls looked envious and the boys looked…well…hungry. Hermione smiled as she spotted Fred and Harry. She made her way to them and then waited to be noticed.
