Mandy had walked down to the lake to think, there was no way she was going to get in the water. The lake scared her enough all ready. She wished that somebody would come and join her. She really needed a new set of ears. Of course it was a boy problem. What else would it be? It was about her crush on Malfoy. She felt like such an idiot. She already knew what Cara would say, it was the samething that she had been saying for a year.
"Okay hun, you have three choices here. A. Tell him how you feel. B. Wait and see if he says anything to you. Or C. Get over him." It was always the same thing with her. Mandy wold help her with her boy problems if she had any! Lucky her! She talked to her kitten Miley, but Miley can't talk back so it always makes her feel like an idiot. She looked as silly as she felt. she had on her silver and green hoodie, a pair of jean shorts, knee high green and silver stripped socks and light brown ugg boots. Her hair looked pretty though.
She sighed and layed down on the grass. It wasn't like she was just going to talk to anybody, it had to be somebody she knew she could trust. She sighed again and decided to see if anybody would come down to the lake

Harry was on the run. He had to get away from Collin and the constant flashes of the boys camera. It wasn't all it was cracked up to be, being the Boy Who Lived. Harry was already feed up with how everyone of the new students stared at his scar and pointe at him everywhere he went. Hermione and Ron tried to be helpfull and understanding but they could go elsewhere and not have to be bothered by it. Harry however, walked around with a big sign on his forehead saying, "Here I am. Here's Harry Potter."
So that was how he found himself down at the lake. It was a little chilly but not uncomfortably so. Harry was dressed in a black hoddie and a pair of faaded blue jeans. The hood was up on his head and on his feet were a pair of old but comfortable runners. There were not many students by the lake. A few in the water and Draco and this thugs off by the vegetable garden near Hagrid's. There was only one slytherin girl sitting before the lake. Harry looked twice at the way she was dressed but decided not to comment. He sat about three feet away from her. Close enough for a conversation if she wanted one. Far enough away it she didn't.

A boy had moved quietly from behind the tree and was standing between them. A raven's caw broke the silence startling Mandy and Harry. The person took off his hood, revealing Raven black hair,deep dark brown eyes that gave off an uncaring stare. He held a Raven on his right hand, his wand in his left. His hoodie was black, with the Ravenclaw sign put largely on the front and back. He didn't even glance at Harry or Mandy as he stepped forward, and moved his right arm upwards, letting the raven fly. He finnaly sat down, close to the shore "Hello Mandy.....whos the boy? he said in a cold uncaring tone of voice

Mandy heard a crack like a twig breaking so she looked up to see who it was. It was Harry Potter. it surprised her that she had always gone to the school at the same time he did but she never thought to talk to him. He looked kind of out of breath to her. She sat up and crossed her legs. "Hi, I'm Mandy." She said sticking out her hand. She knew that he probable had a lot going on right now so she figured that maybe she would just let him talk his problems out.
The next crack she heard was followed by and unfriendly stare. She smiled slightly and nodded at him. "Oh it's noting, I mean nobody, nobody at all." She said laughing. She wanted to tell Talon, according to Cara he was a great person to talk to. But for some reason she just couldn't find the words to talk. She looked back at Harry then and Talon then at the lake.

harry smiled when Mandy introduced herself. "I'm Harry." He replied. "Harry Potter." He began to stand and move to join her when another student stepped up. "Whos the boy?" The new comer said coldly. Harry stopped. What was this guys problem? Harry shrugged and moved to Mandy's side. He looked at the student for a moment and then sat down next to Mandy.

"The Boy Who Lived....within feet of me...I'm honored.." he said with a slight tone of sarcasm. He looked back at Mandy"How's it hangin, Mandy and what could you possibly be doing 3 feet away from Harry Potter. He stood up and walked behind them, before circling around Mandy and sitting next to her.

"Talon your not a people person are you?" Mandy asked with a smile. "You'll have to excuse Talon. He is like that to a lot of people. I think. And it's a pleasure to meet you Harry. Harry Potter." She said with a smile hoping that he would pick up on her joke. "I believe we are going to have a conversation." She said smiling at Talon. "So are you boys hiding from somebody? Or just taking a walk?" Mandy asked both of them.

Draco was wandering the lawns looking for something to do. He was dressed in a pair of gry shorts and a white t-shirt. A baseball cap sat on his head keeping his pale blond hair out of his eyes. By the lake he spoted a slytherin girl he had seen around a few times. He Smiled and then walked closer it wasn't until she had seen him that he realized who she was with. Potter. Draco frowned.

Mandy saw Draco and smiled and waved without thinking. It wasn't until after she did this that she remembered that she was sitting with Harry Potter. "Crap. Well this is going to suck." She thought not really in the mood for yelling. Mandy laughed "Are you still mad about the whole Snape thing, cause it was funny! Or are you mad at something else?" She asked after she had stopped laughing enough to talk. "Harry didn't you think it was funny?" She asked him

Harry silently met Draco's eye. He and Draco had never gotten along since day one. Harry offered a small smile for mandy. "It was kind of funny." He said. "But Snape has been doing things like that for years." He wasn't even going to bother with Talon's snide comments. Harry had been the subject of riicule for years. He had a fairy tough skin now.

Draco lifted his hand in return to Mandy. He smiled slightly. Never had it been said that Draco wasn't a ladies man. He stepped closer and offered his hand to the other male sitting with Mandy and Potter. "We haven't had the pleasure of officialy meeting." Draco said in a clipped english accent. "I'm Draco. And you are?" Draco sat beside this boy after their greeting and looked out over the water.

"I know that and so does Cara but the worse thing that he has ever done to her is yell. She is over reacting." Mandy said to Talon. "Don't make me tell Cara that.... Well I don't have an excuse write now but I will. I don't think I will though. I can't think today. So how are you two today." She said to Talon and then asked the both of them trying to prevent unnecessary fighting. She narrowed her eyes at Talon as if telling him to be nice to Draco or she would go tell Cara.

Talon returned his shake with a tight grasp"Talon....and I know you...I have potions 1 and Charms with you..." he said getting quite fed up with people not remembering him. He leaned against the tree.
