Hagrid stood outside of his cabin with the amnimal he would be teaching about for his first lesson. It was a Hippogriff. He wasn't Buckbeak but he looked almost the same. It was grey in color and had the front legs, wings, and head of a giant eagle and the body, hind legs and tail of a horse. The Hippogriff looked around couriously as the syudents began to make thier way down the grassy slope from the castle.

Talon walked from behind a tree. He had flew there in his raven form, and relaxed in the forest for a while. He walked up to Hagrid "Good morning Professor Hagrid, is that a Hippogriff? Amazing creatures Hippogrifs are..." he said staring at the majestic beast. He had always been interested in magical and mythical creatures alike, and loved Hagrid's class.

Mandy walked down to where her next class was. She looked up and smiled at the trees and the sun and clouds. She loved being outside. Cara wasn't in this class with her, because she wanted to take something else that Mandy couldn't remember the name to so she picked this class. The first person Mandy saw was Talon, which didn't surprise her. She smiled at her teacher and said "Good morning, Professor. How are you on this lovely day?"

Though Dakota would probably never admit it Care of Magical Creatures was one of her favorite classes. She had always loved animals and nature so it seemed natural that it would be a class that she liked. The only problem she had with it was that, that fool Hagrid was teaching it. She couldn't stand that. They needed to get a proper teacher for this class.
So at the time of class she wasn't taking her time like she normally did. She walked calmly but at a reasonable pace towards the area where they were meeting for the class. She arrived as one of the first students, which was very odd for her. She didn't greet the teacher or other students though, instead simply standing off to one side by herself as she waited for class to start.

Harry walked down the stone path towards Hagrid's hut. Hermione and Ron were with him. Harry loved having Hagrid as a professor. This man knew just as much about the school as any of the other professors."Morning Professor." Harry called happily when he reached Hagrid. He knew about Hippogryphs of course from Buckbeak and Harry bowed low. When the animal returned the bow, Harry reached up and patted its feathery neck.

Talon advanced towards the creature slowly, as he began to bow. He had read all about Hippogryphs from his books on magical creatures, and ever since the strange disappearance of Buckbeak last year, he wanted to meet another Hippogryph.
