Mandy walked into potions, she wasn't sure why she had shown up but she told her mom and dad she would go to every class. She smiled at Snape and walked up to him and handed him a note explaining why she was late, it was written by the head master so she hoped that he would excuse her because she was helping him with something. "I am so so so sorry I'm late professor. I was helping professor Dumbledor." She said "Can I make up what ever I missed during my free period?" She asked and then heard something fall, followed by bubbling.

"Miss Brown." Servius said to the slytherin girl. "I do not tolerate students being late to my class for any reason." He took the note and waved her off. It was a far bit better then what had happened to Ginny. Servius turned towards Draco's potion. He hurried over and pulled the boys away from the mess. God only knew what could happen if this touched anyone. With a wave of his wand, he wiped the potion clean and turned to Crabbe. His eyes narrowed. "You will clean the dungeon tonight." Crabbe pointed to Talon, a Ravenclaw. "But he made me do it. He startled me." Servius turned around to face the Ravenclaw. "You'll join him." He spat without asking any questions.

Talon smirked Sure thing professor...all you had to do was ask...as for me..there was no evidence....you freaked out because of your own negligence and your insane stupidity...and perhaps I should have brung in another professor to talk about our current potion masters' obsessiveness with slytherin house...and the special behavior they are getting...besides I can't I'm helping professor Sprout tonight.."

Cara smiled and was great full for the potion bubbling over, she was even more great full for Mandy showing up. Now her lab partner showed up. Now if only the class would be dismissed she would now that Snape had forgotten about her. She watched Mandy walk to where she was sitting and sat next to her. Cara smiled at her and then frowned when Snape said Talon had to clean the dungeon.
Cara slapped a had over her mouth so she wouldn't laugh and grabbed one of Mandy's hands and put that over her hand too.

Mandy smiled knowing that the worst that she would get. She went and sat by Cara and heard a boy tell Snape off. Cara thought it was drop dead funny, but Mandy felt bad. Nobody seemed to like Snape. She felt her hand being slapped over another hand and looked at Cara to see that she was shaking and tears were running down her face. The site alone was enough to make her laugh herself so she covered her mouth and waited.

Servius was absolutely stunned. Never had a student dared to speak to him like that. Not even that insufferable Harry Potter. Snape could think of nothing to say for a few moments. He could hear the whispers and muffled laughter around the room. His hand twitched towards his wand. He wanted desperately to teach this insubordinate child his place. Servius forced himself to stop and take a breath. He stalked towards the Ravenclaw. “How dare you speak to me like that?” He kissed. At the look of calmness in the student’s eyes. Servius felt something inside of himself snap. “Stand Up!” He yelled causing several students to start. Snape had never yelled in his class before. “The way I present my lesson’s or my house is no mater of yours. You are a child. A weak pathetic excuse for a wizard. You disgust me.” He turned to Cara. “I did not tell you to return to your seat. Get back up to the front of the classroom.” He barked. He turned back to Talon. “For the remainder of this week and next you will return to this class and clean and polish every cauldron in here right after dinner.” He turned to the rest of the class. Anyone who does not want to join him, will leave their cauldron unclean after classes.” He picked up Cara’s potion vital and walked back to Cara. He shoved the potion at her. “Drink it.” He ordered. Of course, if anything got out of hand, Servius had the means to make an antidote quickly.

Talon smirked again"if you think that would hurt me...it doesn't...I've had to deal with it for years now...but face it..truth is I'm the only student who'd dare talk to you like that...as for the punishment...great..I'll bring my toothbrush..and my plunger in case some Slytherin idiot leaves something nasty in there" he said with a clean, calm face, and a cold, sarcastic voice. He watched as Cara was about to drink the potion, and was pissed off that after all that, he still wasn't able to save her.

For Cara(i'm being lazy)
"Um, I'm not drinking that until I know what it could do to me. Or so help me, I will tell my aunt and uncle. and for another thing I never left my seat. Remember, I said my seat wasn't going to let me move and I hid my head, then the potion fell into the other one and it bubbled. And did I already say that I'm not drinking that?" Cara said knowing that this wasn't going to end well for her. But she wasn't going to let Talon be the only one to get into trouble

"Make it a month." Snape Hissed at the Ravenclaw. "and one more comment from you like that and you will be suspended afterwards." He turned to Cara again. "Are you trying to folow in his footsteps?" Servius asked coldly. "Nothing will happen to you in my class. Drink it." Servius repeated.

"Cara please just drink it. You know my mom and dad will get all over his case if anything bad happens. Nothing will happen... I hope." Mandy said under her breath hoping that Cara didn't hear the last part.

Cara frowned and took the potion and frowned "Snape if this kills me know that I will come back and haunt your ass for the rest of your life." Cara said on the verge of tears. She took a deep breath and swallowed the potion very quickly and closed her eyes and waited.

Talon rolled his eyes and sat back at his desk, wanting the period to end. He hoped Snape wouldn't forget that he was going to be busy tonight with professor sprout, but if he forgot, then who cared. Talon leaned back and watched the girl drink it, making a motion for his wand. Three seconds is all im giving the bastard. If he doesn't help Cara in 3 seconds I'm stepping in. he thought to himself

Harry sat beside Hermione and kept his mouth shut. He knew only too well how bad Snape's temper could get. At least this time it wasn't directed at a Gryffindor. Harry was a little surprised at how these two students could stand up to Snape. They must be knew to the school if they didn't know the professors reputaion.

Mandy looked at Cara. She could remember everything from first year to now, and every stupid thing that she did. But this was the worst. Cara should have known better than to try this with out her. She should have faked having cramps or something. She looked around and saw Potter. "Great, I didn't know he was in this class. He is probable thinking Cara is new, but she's not. She just tends to talk to other people. Cara! I wonder whats going on with her." Mandy said looking at her cousin with panic in her eyes.

Snape laughed at the girls feeble threat. "As if one more spirit in this school would bother me." He retorted. As she drank the potion. Servius waited along with the rest of the class. There was not a single sound to be heard. Everyone one waited with baited breath. Slowly Cara's skin took on a green tint. Servius stepped back and out of the way in case she was about to vomit. Snape motioned for a bucket and then shoved it into her hands. She opened her mouth and Snape took a nother step away. But what happened was the funniest thing. This potion wa supposed to give the drinker gas as a joke. A way to mess up Filtch. Instead, what came from her mouth was an extreamly loud croak like from a frog. There was only one and then it was over. The silence was heavy in the room. Suddenly Sanpe let out a small chuckle and them everyone esle was laughing. "Take a seat." Snape said to Cara.

After Cara was done sounding like a frog she was getting ready to sit down, but when Snape told her to she glared at him and stood where she was. "You are, the..... w-worst teacher, I think that I have ever had. In my whole life." Cara said trying not to cry. She hated crying in front of people the only people she will ever cry in front of is Mandy. And she had a smile on her face.
