Cara nodded "They are, I think the school needs a swimming pool." She said moving so hair out of her face. "I was sitting, waiting for anybody to come and talk to me. And I would love to go to the library! I need to get a new book on potions. That potions we made in class turned green! And it looked fine before. I think somebody changed it." Cara said getting up, and holding her hand out for Talon so he could get up. "But I don't know maybe I did do it wrong." She said sighing and shaking her head.

He smiled "No way, I thought I saw something come from the desk a few rows back, some slytherin girl with long black hair...."he said remembering her face. "So lets get going" he said taking her hand and rising up next to her. "Sur lets go, lead the way Cara"

Cara nodded and started walking. "Now this is going to sound shocking but not everybody in Slytherin is evil. My cousin is in that house and she's my best friend. But I think the only reason she is in Slytherin is because her her parents where. My mom was in Slytherin, but my dad was in Gryffindor." She said and realized that now she was the one that was babbling.

He smiled at her "Yeah I know that...just half of them....or something like that....I know a few good ones...and my mom was in Gryffindor and my father was in Ravenclaw"he said as they entered Hogwarts. He smiled listening to her babbling, but unlike when he did it, it was cute.

"Really, what are your parents like?" Cara asked putting her bag on her shoulder. She felt a pang of sadness hit her but she took a deep breath and shook her head. She could talk about parents. She smiled at a group of people that walked by and waved at her.

"I wouldn't know...they never come down from the cloud they're on, bragging and swapping stories about my older brother"He glared at the ground angrily with an ice cold stare that seemed to pierce everything. It was clear that he had a deep hatred for his brother, and wouldn't shed a single tear, apart from those of happiness, if he found out that he had died. He looked at her with his stare and saw her frowning and looking like she was thinking about something important. His glare was stopped, and he frowned, figuring out that parents must be a touchy subject for her. "Hey, I'm sorry for taking about family like that....but I've got something to show you..." he turned towards the stairs that would take them to the library.

"My cousin is like my sister, so my aunt and uncle are like parents to me. Or they have been for the last year. And I love them for that. And don't say sorry. You have nothing to be sorry about, I'm the one that asked. And if it's a slug you wanna show men then count me out." Cara said with a laugh. Good old Cara making a joke out of something when she was sad. Only she really was hoping that it wasn't a slug.

He obviously didn't get the joke, for he turned to her with confusion"What, what about a slug? no, its not a slug...you like to read right? Well, I bought a whole load of really great books that the library doesn't have yet!"he said coyly, adding a devilish smirk, noticing that he had gotten her attention"here, lets check out any books you want, then maybe I could swing by the RavenClaw house, and get them?"he said holding the front door to the library open for her.

"Really? Forget the library it'll be open tomorrow. I wanna see the books that you have! What kind of books are they?" She asked excitedly. She couldn't imagine there being books that the school library didn't have. It was just so weird. "Are they good?" She asked looking at her friend.

He smiled"I like you....your fun....and books about all kinda of things..I actually had lots and lots more but my dad...used some kinda spell and shoved some into others..like...I used to have a book about centaurs, one on giants, one on werewolfs, and one on vampires...he shoved them all in one for me...I've shoved some more in..like gnomes, elves...merpeople...bah whatever.. but I've got one or at least.. a part on just about most wizarding subject...what do you wanna read first?" he said conjuring up a wheelbarrow to carry the books.

Cara smiled when he said she was fun. "Aww.... well thank you. Your fun too. And I want to read anything that doesn't have to do with potions." Cara said crossing her arms, and frowning at the thought of the class earlier. "That was awful!"

"I turned some essays and stuff into "books" if you'll call them that...if put together they can make up more like....research findings...and I have some on herbology, magical creatures, dueling, muggle studies, even the history of hogwarts" he said showing off his knowledge with a smile .
