Mandy was sitting in the same booth as she had been when Cara was with her the other day. It was a nice day out and she was sitting there wondering why she wasn't out side. But then she remembered that she was hiding from Cara and Ella. Yes she was hiding from her best friend and her friend. She was hiding from Cara because she was still over reacting about Harry and Ella. And she was hiding from Ella because she was scared that Cara would see Mandy with her. She pushed her iced pumpkin juice away and put her head down. She was hoping that somebody she wasn't hiding from would come and join her.

Draco was sulking. he had had a really bad day and just wanted to drop into a booth and have a drink. If he were at home right now, he would have a shot of fire wiskey. But here, in Hogsmead, that was certianly out of the question. He slinked into the Ice cream palor and made his way to his regular table. He dropped into the booth and put his head down on his arms which he had crossed on the table. His long blond hair hung across his skin. Draco hadn't even noticed that some one else was sitting at this table let alone Mandy. He sighed.

Mandy sat up when she felt the table shake like somebody was sitting down. She looked across and smiled. There was Draco sitting there. "Bad day?" Mandy asked poking his arm. Mandy was pleased that it wasn't Cara or Ella. That was the good point. The bad point was. Mandy had seen Draco in a bad mood before and was hoping that this wouldn't turn into one of those bad moods. She smiled slightly.

At the sound of the familiar voice and the poke in his arm, Draco lifted his head slightly, enouigh that one grey eyes was showing. "Hey Mandy." He mumbled. "Yes, bad day." Draco closed his eyes and turned his head to the side. "Detention with Filch because the stupid git caught me with a stink pellet in my hand." Draco said mournfully. "How about you?" He reached out one hand blindly for Mandy's. He wanted a little contact.

"Oh. I'm sorry. It's been a long day. I've been running around and hiding. Cara and Ella are driving me insane." Mandy asked moving her fingers under Draco's hand. "They give detention for the dumbest reasons." Mandy said shaking her head. "What do you think about Ella and Harry?" Mandy asked, she knew that might make him more mad, but Cara had been asking her and trying to stay away from Harry and Ella. And Ella wanted to know if he was mad at her.

This question casued Draco to open his eyes and look at Mandy. "I think it's discusting that a Slytherin would lower herself to date a Gryffindor. Let alone Scar head." Replyed without really thinking. "I'm sorry." He said quickly. "I know that you and Potter are friends and all but come on." He shook his head. Does she not have better taste then that?" He sat silently for a moment rubbing mandy hand absentmindedly with his free hand. "Most of the Slytherin house will turn against her for it. Some already have."

"Cara has and she isn't even in Slytherin. She won't talk to Harry. And I'm her friend but... I... I can't even find words to say what I think." Mandy said shaking her head she knew that a lot of people had stopped talking to Ella. And Mandy was trying but she was bothering her. "She says she really likes him." She said making a gagging face. Mandy blushed when he rubbed her hand.

Draco snorted when Mandy said Ella liked Harry. "Of course she does." He said. "Everyone loves the wonderous Boy Who Lived." Draco sneered again. Draco looked at the row off coolers holding ice cream. He wanted a butterbeer float. Draco kissed the back of Mandy's hand. "I'm sorry." He said. "Do you want something?" He asked standing up. He waited for her responce.

"You don't seem to like him so not everybody. No thank. I'm good." Mandy said pointing to her juice which she now took a drink of and smiled at Draco. She felt bad for him. Though she would never say anything because that is slightly rude.

"I tried to be freindly with Potter the first day at Hogwarts, and he denied me." Drace told Mandy. "So why bother?" He asked. Draco went to the counter and ordered his drink. The employee hurried to fill his order and Draco returned to the table with the float. With a long spoon, he scooped some icecream out of the tall glass and popped it into his mouth savoring the icey treat.

Mandy smiled at Draco when he sat down again. "I was thinking that you were going to get something sweeter." Mandy joked because she remembered all the candy he got at the candy store. "How are your friends?" Mandy asked, because she didn't really talk to them often. Seeing as how if she had any classes with them Cara was with her.

"Ice cream is ice cream." Draco replied with a grin. He loved his sweets but vanilla ice cream was one of his favorites. He shrugged when Mandy mentioned his friends. "Their fine, I quess." Draoc told her. "Greg and Vincent are looking for dates to the ball and Pansy's not talking to me right now. You know why that is." He added with a shrug. It didn't mater to him either way if she talked to him. Most of the time she just got under his skin.

Mandy hated Pansy. The two girls have never gotten along. Which was fine with Mandy. "Does she do that often? Get mad at you and not talk to you, I mean?" Mandy asked looking down to make sure that her bag was sitting next to her. She looked back up and smiled slightly.
