Professor Snape unlocked the door to his class room and walked briskly inside. There were students outside in the hall and they followed him in. Snape walked to the board and with his wand, inscribed the following. Swelling Solution
3 cups of water 2 cups of Puffer fish Eyes ¼ ml of fluxweed 3 pettles from a daisy Two t-spoons of belladonna ½ cup of Ashwinder eggs
Pour in the water. Add the Puffer fish when the cauldron is hot. When the Puffer fish eyes have liquefied, add the belladonna. Stir clockwise six times. Add remaining items and stir counter clockwise until the potion turn dark red. Should take twenty minutes.
This potion is used to inflict pain on others. The potion coming in contact with any piece of living flesh creates enlarged grotesquely. Servius turned to the class. “You have twenty minutes to perform this lesson. Those of you who create it correctly,” He gazed at Draco. “Will receive 10 House points each. Those who do not.” All eyes turned to Neville. “Will test the potion on themselves. I’m sure Madame Promfry can find a cure.” He looked around slowly at the faces gazing back at him. “Begin.”

Izzy walked in behind her teacher and sat down in the back of the room. She watched her teacher write. She almost gagged when she saw that she needed fish eyes. That was her least favorite thing about potions class the fact that she had to work with fish body parts. She wrinkled her nose as she got everything that she would need. She pulled her long dark brown hair up into a ponytail. As she did this she was wondering what color she would do her hair next. She started to work on her potion. Even though she hated the gross stuff, this was Izzy's best and favorite class. She knew that she would do fine. She loved her gray hitched skirt and white button down long sleeve fitted shirt, her black vest, fuzzy black boots and huffelpuff tie. Click It

Ron walked into potions, he liked the class just not the teacher. Although he didn't like making potions out of body parts. It was disturbing in so many ways. He sat in the middle of the class and waited for Harry to walk in. Ron sat and decided to get up and get all the things needed for the potion, but he refused to touch fish with his bare hands so he got gloves and got the fish eyes for the potion. He almost gagged and went to a desk to set everything up. Ronald noticed the girl in the back. He went to the back of the room to find out her name. "Hey. I don't think i know your name...."

Cara walk, stomped, marched what ever you want to call it into potions. She hated that class. From the time that Professor Snape made her drink... whatever that was. She had tried to get it changed but all she got was "no it'll be a good chance to learn. She walked over to the seat next to Izadora. "Her name is Izadora. Hey Ron, whats up?" Cara quickly tied up her hair with a gold and maroon stripped ribbon. She didn't want to go to this class, she didn't want to go to any classes today. Cara sighed and put her head down. This

After DADA, Shiloh walked to Potions, she loved this class,, just not the fact that everything always had to do with fish or some other dead creature. She didn't like touching dead things. She looked at the back of the room to see another Hufflepuff. Izzy. She was cool. Nice and all. Shiloh went and got all the things on the board for the potion. Then she went to a table and waited for Snape to give further instructions to move on. She sighed as she really needed something to do. She started to write down lyrics to muggle songs she had heard somehow. She looked at the door as someone else walked in.

Talon entered this class and groaned. He knew Snape hated him with a deep, deep passion. And he hated Snape equally. He looked at the board at the potion ingridients and sighed under his breath. At the second when Snape announced people who got it right would get points, he thought to himself "Yeah, you mean all the damn slytherins you ugly tosspot" he listened to Snape further explain that failures will have this pain inducing potion tested on them. He thought to himself again"You mean all the other houses you jerk. Look at yourself, you useless nothing. If you so dare make Cara or Mandy or Harry or any other of my friends take that, so help you. He was truely angry and boy did he look it. He sat down with a grunt and the kid who sat next to him moved away a tiny bit. He stared into the young Slytherins eyes and the kid moved a bit away. He grabbed his stainless steel pot and poured in the water and waited for it to get hot, he prepared the Puffer fish eyes and measured the exact amounts of the belladona fluxweed and Ashwinder eggs. He plucked three pettles off the flower and noticed that the cauldron was ready. He put in the fish eggs and began to wait till the fish eggs were liquified. He sat back and relaxed thinking about how he hated this class. This was the one class he was not getting a high grade in. " Oh yeah, the nurse will definitely find a cure, hours after the potion has caused them enough pain. Look at you, this must be some sick twisted game to you Snape. I think you call it "Hey, lets just see how many non slytherin children i can throw into a hospital today!" he thought to himself again. He noticed the fish eyes had liquified, he added the belladonna and began to stir this mixture 6 times clockwise. He added the remaining components and started to stir clockwise waiting for it to turn dark red. He began to think again. It was not his fault he was having an average grade in the class, well, sorta. It wasn't that he had a tough time in the class or that he was bad at potions, but he had to admit it wasn't one of his better classes. He was good at defence against the dark arts and transfiguraion, he was good at charms and hell, even herbology was better then damn potions for him. In reality, the reason why he was doing poorly in this class was that he retaliated against Snape using a potion on Cara and embarrasing her. He threatened him and spoke back to him, making him speechless. Snape, speechless. He embarrassed snape infront of this whole class and made him look like a fool. He had outsmarted one of the more cunning deatheaters. He smiled as he relaxed again.

"Yo Wolf, that Ravenclaw kid is freakin me out" Korin whispered to Wolf who glanced at the angry student, “He just hates snape K, and Slytherins as a hole have a hard time getting in his I-don't-quite-hate-you side,”he really is full of himself but I bet I can finish my potion before him. He let the lackeys talk for a while, while going step by step till the last direction. he had Jake stir it as he looked at the Ravenclaws mix- it was about 7 minutes ahead of Wolf, not that it mattered...he sat next to Talon, and said" you want to have a bit of a contest with me the next few classes here- I say that I can match or beat you at speed and correctness of every potion we make, I win, nothing happens but that I won...You win I give you 17 galions and the most advanced magic book I have, Secrets of Defense, Offense, and Reconnaissance. which is the only copy my father ever found, what do you say, smart stuff?"

Talon looked at the boy"Believe me Slytherin its a wonder I'm even speaking to you He made a movement with his wand and turned on his auto stirring spoon. He leaned back on his chair and crossed his arms his eyes glaring into that of this boy's. "first thing's first, If your going to talk anything negative about me, please, try to make it subtle. I heard you from across the room. We really wouldn't want somebody to...snap now would we? As for your little bet, No thank you. I understand your motives and all, but I'm not one go bet. Or to let somebody like you try to use me as a stepping stone. I'm only going to assume you wish to humiliate me or something and I shall not have that. Now please, before you irritate me more, out of my sight. He spoke in a incredibly cold voice. He didn't seem like himself actually.

Anna walked into class. She saw Talon and he didn't look happy. Then someone leaned over to talk to him. She sat in the back of the class and looked at the board. She sighed and got up. She really hated when potions had to do with nasty things like eyes and eggs. She sighed and got up to get the stuff for the potion. She got the cauldron and started following the directions for it. She was not happy. She was like failing this class and it was because of the scum bag Snape. He hated Ravenclaw. She was so sick of being nice to him.She looked at him and decided that today was enough. She hated him with a burning passion. Anna looked down at her potion and it was turning out red. She looked at Talon. "Talon. Come here. Please. I don't know if this is right...."

magicsmirked at the younger boy, he would have been a great slytherin...“Very well, Talon, I will go now” he said and got up slowly and walked over to his table, he had almost called the boy bird claw. he pointed his wand behind him as he walked, Muffliatohe muttered, no explosions from Mr. Bigtalk. "Dude, why didn't you use some curse or jinx on the little bastard?" Korin asked. 'Cause he got something else planned, duh...you got a plan right?' Jake chimed in quietly. but Wolf was already muttering one of the spells in the re-con section of his book, he had a drop of Talons potion and he was making a spell to make it so his potion would mimic Talons at any point, he put his finger into the solution so the drop would start the proses. The proses worked both ways, so if his potion was faster in the making than Talons, Talons potion would catch up. “time for a little hi-tech magic” hemutteredd and added a clockwise mix every 12 counter-clockwise turn. Even if the little Ravenclaw had seen him, he just looked to be tending his potion, which was turning red about 7 minutes sooner, whichmeantt Talons mix must be catching up to his fast as well, he hoped the professor came soon, he needed to move to the next part of his plan.

How dare he. That miserable little cheat. Taking Talon's potion was so idiotic, unnessacary and not to mention, low. He looked back at this boy and mouthed the words, hoping the boy could read lips"Thats why you wanted to make that bet with me...your pathetic. I used to just hate you. Now, I pity thee oh worthless Slytherin...Isn't it enough that just being a slytherin gaurantees a high grade in this class because Snape is a very biased prick? Do you really need to cheat off somebody way smarter stronger and more talented? Must you cheat from somebody who plans to get far in life? I had very little respect for you from the beginning because you were brave enough to talk to me, but now, now you have lost it. Can't you see? You Slytherin are almost all the same. Your a slimy little worm trying to sqruim its way closer to me. Disgusting. Your house is so different from the rest of us because your leader was evil. And thats where you all belong. And it seems the new generation of Slytherin seems to be trying to worm its way back to the other houses. Mandy, Aiden Morate, Grey Goyle, and You. Go ahead, cheat off me, but you left a magical trace of your spell and I shall reveal it to the professor if nessacary. If this does nothing, I shall take this to the highest authority in the school, Dumbledore. Or you and I could just duel...I hope you wouldn't mind a few months with Madam Promfry" Boy was he raging. It seemed that nothing was going right for him and more and more people just seemed to annoy him. Finally he heard Anna's voice and he turned to her to listen. He gazed at her potion and said "No Anna, your doing just fine. IT's preety good actally. your getting to the right shade of red. But if the potion starts turning another color or turns to a lighter shade of red, then somethings wrong. Contact me again if you need help. he looked back to this boy again. It even irratated Talon that the boy knew his name, and he didn't give a proper introduction. that means this boy had to have been listening to gossip specifically about him or was watching him. Great, another obstacle at this school. It seems slytherin is becoming a hassle. A hassle that was becoming a big problom, and quickly. Talon knew that if he got this boy to get into a duel, Talon would win. It wouldn't matter what kind of combos or newer "high tech magic" the boy talked about, would use. Talon could handle just about any students here because he was trained by Bellatrix Fenrir and Voldemort themselves. He learned very little spells, but they did strengthen his spells and make him more fit. He knew that he would get in big trouble but he would show this boy whats what if he needed too.
(i know your prolly pissed at this post. I'm not pissed at you for stealing it...well..kinda but I got over it. Its Talon you should watch out for.

(i swear if you do something to advanced I will make Talon let loose on Wolf. IF he does, Talon will surely win. I've created an arsenal of moves today just after i posted. Sorry Cody, this will be fun, but even you can't strategize as good as I. I'm a tactician at heart._

But if the potion starts turning another color or turns to a lighter shade of red, then somethings wrong. Contact me again if you need help." Talon said. "Okay. Cool. Thanks." Anna said, proud of herself. She was glad she had done it this time. Last time she...... well lets just say it was not a great day. She smiled to herself and finished the potion. She was done after Talon and the boy who was leaning over to talk to him. Whatever his name was. She raised her hand and waited for the teacher to come over to her. I swear to god, if he says this is wrong. I will cut him to pieces and burn them. She thought to her self. He is so mean to everyone who isn't a praised Slytherin. Screw them. They are lame. Well except Ella. She's nice.

Sevius had waited silently as his class had filed into the room. He was pleased but would never admit it when they automaticly started their work. Except for a few that looked nearly sick when they read the ingredients to today's potion. That just made his day that much beter. His eyes fell on Talon. This boy had been a thorn in his side almost since day one. Servius loathed him even more then Potter. "Do you have something to say to me?" Servius asked after walking slowly over to the student. Servius had been listening intently as Talon insulted the Slytherins. Oh how he would love to curse the little shit and teach him a lesson once and for all. "You seem to enjoy insulting and threatening my house. How would you like to try it on me? Then I would finally have enough cause to have you shipped out of here on the next train out of Hogsmead." Sercius waited silently. It seemed that all heads in the classroom had turned to look at them. Servius moved on now. Looking nto each students potion. "Ten points to Ravenclaw." He said looking at Annalise's work. "Ten points to Slytherin. Another ten to Slytherin." He added for Wolf and Vincent." He moved along. Even Nevil's work was coming along well. He looked sharply at the Gryffindor sitting beside him. There was no question in his mind that she had helped him. There went one of his victims.
