Servius sat in the overstuffed chair by the fire in his office. He awaited two visitors. As he had done every night for the past three months. The girl Jessica should be here any time. Here room after all was right next to his. It was odd but he supposed it made sense in a way that Dumbledore would want the girl away from bad influences until they had fully gotten her caught up to speed. But she was a Gryfindor and Servius doubted very much that she was happy away from her fellow students. He looked around his office. His large dark wood desk was the center of the room. Along each wall were shelves upon shelves of bottled potions. Servius was quite god at what he did. There was a knock at the door and Servius flicked his wand at the door and heard it unlock. “Enter.” He growled as the door swung open.

Dumbledore walked the dungeons over to Sevirus's office, he saw no need to join him with the girl but he enjoyed being with his good friend and the bright child. He knocked on the ofice and Sevirus snarled a enter. Dumbledore entered saying, "Ah Sevirus, you are much to serious." and then he sat in the chair her just conjured up.

Jess changed out of her school uniform and left her room to make the short walk to Snape’s office. On the way she passed a few Slytherin’s. They were still not used to her being on her turf. Jess smiled at the and one smiled back but the other scowled. Jess shrugged and went on her way. Snape’s office door was open so she entered without knocking. She loved potions and could wait to get started. Inside sat Snape and the Headmaster. Jess smiled widely at both. She moved to the coffee table beside the Headmaster, removed the many books and then sat facing them both.

Dumbledore held up his finger at Severus to sclence him for a moment, "Ahh welcome my dear, how was the party last night?" at her blush he smiled knowingly and said, "Ah, but my dear; to ground the phoenix would be a sin." He knew from the blush and her disappearance with the boy who had watched her with lust then love all this school year what had happened in her room. "Anyhow," he said, again scilencing Severus once more-stopping unneeded quarries, "Todays lesson will be on 6th year potions, we will only direct you when the book is confusing. Severus." he said indicating that Severus was to inform her of the potions to be made. He flicked his wand at Severus's chalkboard as severus told her and ingredience of the four potions she was to start slowly apeared on the board, for better visual refrance.

Jess could feel her face getting hot when The Headmaster asked her about the party. Truth be told, she had enjoyed the night quite a bit but she would never tell these two men about it. She was thankful when Dumbledore silenced the questions that Snape was about to ask. Snape was becoming a sort of father figure to her and she didn’t want him angry with her. She nodded when the Headmaster began talking about tonight’s lesson plan. Professor Snape levitated a text book and directed it into Jess’s hands. “You may use my Cauldron,” He told her. “And anything you will need, you will find on my shelves.” Jess noticed, and not for the first time, hold gentle his voice became when he spoke to her.

Servius looked from the girl to the Headmaster. He was about to ask what had happened last night hat had her blushing so deeply but then he decided that he didn’t want to know. Servius stood and motioned for Jess to join him. He led the way to the cauldron. “So,” He said softly. “I assume the Headmasters question about the party in fact had nothing to do with the party?” He watched her blush even deeper. “I assumed as much.” He said, he had all the confirmation he needed. “Need I remind you of our rules here?” He was not harsh with her. Servius found it very hard to treat he as badly as he treated the other students

Dumbledore let Severus be Severus, Dumbledore new that both students where almost of age, and that they would do this even if he tried to stop it. Dumbledore desided his time would be better spent writing some lessons for her. He started on her homework for the next week, and let the other two at their ways.

Servius looked at Jess silently as she bent over the cauldron. She had been working almost silently for quite some time, only pausing to ask him a question here and there. Servius stood beside her through out her lessons for that purpose.
He could see Dumbledore writing quickly and then turned back to the girl. He looked over her silently thinking to himself. Absentmindedly, he rubbed at the dark mark on his lower arm. It was growing darker which could only mean that things were going to get bad once more but Dumbledore knew all about that.
But this girl, a muggle born, caught and held his attention. He felt an odd feeling in his heart for her. What could that feeling be? He was not comfortable with women since he had fallen for a woman a long time ago. Lilly. But this wa different. Servius wanted to protect this girl. Keep her safe no mater what her blood status was.
But did he…dare he think it…love this student? Not as he had loved Lilly of course but as a daughter? And why? Of course he could see that she was lovely. The boys here must be clamoring to be near her.
He had even heard Draco speaking of her. That chilled him. He loved his godson very much but knew how the male Malfoy’s treated their woman. Just look at Narssisa and Lucius.
Servius could see that Jess ad similarities with Lilly though he doubted they had any relation. She was built like Lilly as well, and her attitude, Perfect. Servius sighed and Jess looked up at him expectantly. He didn’t have to force the smile this time.

Jess had been working hard. She was trying to get everything right. It was very important that she do well at potions. She wanted Professor Snape and the Headmasters approval. Jess was surprised out of her thoughts as Professor Snape sighed. She looked up at him. Had she done something wrong? She couldn’t read the emotion in his dark eyes. She looked over at the Headmaster for reassurance. What was it?

((that was a fast post)) Dumbledore stoped his quill writing with a flick of his wand, he had been doing a list of charms to be practiced 3 weeks from the date... "Ah, the temptress has gotten the best of us all I believe, It is time to go my dear child" he was sure Severus would find some way to stall, but when he didn't Dumbledore did. By Looking over each of her potions before going and then gradeing them on many levels of work, she got O's on everyone of them. "marvolus, Well done Jessica" he said happily.

"Ah, the temptress has gotten the best of us all I believe, It is time to go my dear child" Servius looked up at the headmaster with a surprised look on his face. He had almost forgotten that the older man was in the room. Servius smiled at Jessica again. “Indeed.” He said to the Headmaster. When Dumbledore had began to look over Jessica’s work and had deemed them excellent, Servius nodded in agreement. He looked at the potion. Normally, he would have the student test it on themselves but with Jessica, Servius knew that would not be nessisary.
