War is on the horizon. The world we know is changing. Voldemort's accent to power is causing great distress among the wizarding world. Each day brings news of either fresh deaths or strange disappearances cropping up throughout London. As his numbers increase so does the panic. Whole families are going into hiding, and some young witches and wizards are eloping left and right. It seems the only safe place is Hogwarts.
Albus Dumbledore has been headmaster for a few short years, and is said to be the only one Voldemort won't out right challenge. A good thing too, for at least the students are as safe as they can be. But trouble is brewing inside the castle these days. It seems The Dark Lords reach has gotten farther than even Dumbledore could have guessed. Some students have dropped out to pledge their loyalties to the Dark Lord, while others hang back to recruit more.
The group of students whom are so infamously know as the Marauder's have reached their final year. Having passed more classes than most of the staff knew possible, they are almost ready for the world abroad. They have succeeded in not only classes but other triumphs as well. For them life is good, but for how long? How long will it take for Voldemort's hand to reach all the way to the heart of Hogwarts? And will anyone stand with Dumbledore and a small band of witches and wizards prepared to give their lives?
