Draco stood outside of the Three Broomsticks waiting for Mandy. They had decided to meet here instead of at the castle. He had only been waiting a few moments but Draco hated to wait. He paced slightly and frowned. Was she going to stand him up? No that was perposterous. May be she was with potter and his group. Draco sighed and rolled his eyes. He would wait a little longer.

Mandy turned the corner and smiled. Draco was standing right where he said he would. She would have been earlier it Cara hadn't insisted that Mandy help her with her potions homework. "Hey, I'm sorry I'm late. My cousin needed help with her homework." She said with a smile. "So are you ready?" She asked.

Draco looked over at the sound of Mandy's voice. He couldn't help but smile. Her smile was beautiful. "Of course." He answered softly. "Where would you like to go first? I thought we could get a drink maybe and then do a little shopping?" Anywhere she wanted to go would be fine with Draco. He was just looking forward to haveing the day with her. He had already warned Crabbe and Goyle to stay away. Thier constant stupidity would hender the date.

"Sounds great!" Mandy said excitedly. But she was a little stuck that Draco wanted to go shopping. "So where do you like to shop?" Mandy asked seeing as how that was the best question that she could come up with. But then again it wasn't her fault. She sucked at talking to boys that she liked.

Draco laughed softly. "Why does everyone think I don't like to shop?" He asked as he held the door to the three broomsticks open for Mandy. "Do I look like the type of guy to let his mother pick out his clothes?" He asked jokingly as they found an empty table. The waitress walked up quickly and Draco waited for Mandy to order and then ordered a butterbeer for himself. "I like to shop for clthes, books, brooms...stuff like that. Do you like to shop?"

Mandy laughed "No, it doesn't look like you wear clothes your mother picked out but it also doesn't look like your one for shopping. I'll have a butterbeer too. Thank you." She said and smiled at the girl. "Yeah I love to shop. Me and Cara went to a Mall once in London and those poor people didn't know what hit them. But yes I love to shop. What kind of books do you read?" Mandy asked leaning back slightly.

Draco was amussed my the thought of two witches shopping in a muggle mall. "I read all different types of books." He told her. "People tend to think I get by on my fathers conections but I am quite intelligent." He looked down for a moment. "I read history text books, fantasy novels, and plays." He shrugged. "I also have a thing for muggle movies." He added blushing a little. He looked around and noticed some of his freinds at other tables. He nodded and they waved or nodding back.

"Well I don't think you get by through your father. Even ever you answer in class you always get it right. Whats your favorite book that you have read?" Mandy asked. "You like Muggle movies? Really? Like what?" Mandy asked. She knew the witches in wizards that lived in London or places like that went to movies but she never would have thought that Draco would watch them.

"The Catcher in the Rye is one of my favorites." Draco answered. "And as for movies...thats out little dirty secret." He said leaning closer to Mandy and winking. For a moment he was close to her face and wanted to kiss her. He even moved in closer to her untill they were only inches apart but then Draco sat back. I didn't want to seem eager. That was not the Malfoy way. He took a long drink of his butterbeer and then continued. "Anyways...um...I don't go tomovies but I buy them. I watch them at home. I like comedy's and Horrors and the odd drama. One of my favorites would be War of the Worlds."

"Really? What is that about?" Mandy asked. As Draco moved closer to Mandy she froze and took a deep breath and looked at him. But when he moved away she she exhaled. Mandy was taking a drink of her butterbeer and nodded as he said he bought movies, it wasn't until he said he one of his favorites movies was War of The Worlds that she tried to laugh as she was drinking. "How was the end of that? Cara and I were asked to leave like ten minutes into the movie, I guess people have problems with people talking during movies. Which is stupid because the people that went and told a worker were talking to." Mandy said rolling her eyes. "I hate when people do that. But Cara poured popcorn in there car, so I guess that's okay." Mandy said with a laugh, and then smiled at Draco.

"Catcher in the Rye is about this guy named Holden. He has a mental breakdown and quits High School. He's a muggle. He tried to go home but keeps getting side tracked by all these momories and thoughts. It's very good. Interesting." Draco laughed at Mandy's story. "War of The Worlds is a good movie. You go to theaters though?" He asked making a face. "Filled with Muggles? I couldn't do that. I can barely stand being in a store with them long enough to buy the DVD's." He realized how mean that sounded but it was true. Haveing the muggles stare at him and the girls try to brush against him. "I quess old habits die hard." He said.

"That sounds like a good book, i'll have to try and read it sometime. And if you act like they aren't there than it's okay. I'm not a big fan of muggles myself. The only one I think I ever liked was my Uncle." Mandy said and frowned. "Do girls really do that?" Mandy asked with a smile. "And there are always habits that don't die at all." She said with a shrug.

"Yes girls do that." Draco confirmed with a smile. "They pretend to bump into me of trip over nothing so that they can grab my arm. Then they satnd wih their silly little friends and giggle like children. Thats supposed to be attractive?" Draco laughed. "So what do you want to do next?" He asked.
