Mandy smiled, "Are you sure? I mean I'd love to go shopping but are you sure that's what you want to do? Because anything is fine with me." Mandy said. She was trying to do something that he would have fun doing too.

Draco smiled and stood up. "Ready when you are." He told her.He waved to some of his friends and then when Mandy was ready, he followed her out. "Pick a store." He told her.

Mandy stepped out and looked around. "Do you want to want to go to the Sweetshop?" Mandy asked looking at him, her sweet tooth got the better of her sometimes.

Draco nodded. They crossed the street and made their way to the store. It was crowded inside. Draco kept to Mandy side so they wouldn't get seperated. He grabbed a few individual candy bags and handed one to Many to fill up with her candy. He picked out a purple sugar quill and poped it in his mouth. Draco then went on adding Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, Chocolate Frogs, Fudge Flies, Droobles Best Blowing Gum Bubblegum, and Blood pops. He loved candy.

Mandy laughed filled up the bag with Botts Every Flavor Beans, and Bubble gum. She loved Candy and those were her two favorites. "See anybody you know?" Mandy asked as she twisted the top of her bag. "And you seem to like candy as much as I do." She said laughing.

Draco looked at Mandy for a moment. He still had the sugar quill in his mouth and sucked on the sweetness. Reluctanly, he pulled the quill from his mouth."Yeah," He replied. "I'm kind of a candy-a-holic." He smiled sheepishly. He did have a lot more candy in his bag then she did. Draco grabbed a handfull of frogs and dropped them in Mandy's bag. "Now we're more even." He said with a soft laugh. He looked around the shop. "Yeah there are a few poeple here that I know but not that I want to talk to right now." He continued to move around the shop. Suddenly his arm was grabbed an he turned back expecting Mandy but instead it was anouther Slytherin girl. Pansy Parkinson. A angry dark haired beauty. Draco and Pansy used to date and had know eachother for years. Now she looked livid. Pansy looked from Draco to Mandy and Draco knew what was coming. He took Mandy's hand and pulled her to his side. "Don't embarrass yourself Pansy." Draco warned.

Mandy laughed when Draco put the frogs in her bag. "Thanks." she said. She stopped and looked and looked at Pansy. She had never really like her. Ever. "Pansy..." Mandy said with a smile, that was very fake. She stepped over to Draco and blushed when he grabbed her hand. She smiled at him and then looked away.

Pansy said nothing at first. She looked once more at Mandy and then at their entwinned hands. Oansy's eyes began to tear up as she looked eyes with Draco. Draco sighed. This had always been the way Pansy had controled Draco. He couldn't stand for a girl to cry infront of him. He would normaly do anything to make them stop. Draco even felt that way with Granger when she wasn't with potter and weasle. "Pansy," Draco said softly. "We haven't been together for a while now. Don't do this." He was getting a little embarassed when the tears began to fall.

Mandy looked at Pansy and felt bad for her. Mandy knew that they both liked Draco but Mandy didn't know that Pansy liked him that much. "Umm.... Should I go and look around?" Mandy asked quietly, looking at Draco.

Draco tightened his hand around Mandy's. "No." He said. "I don't want this kind of display here." He turned from Pansy. "See you at school." He called to her and then led Mandy away. "Sorry about that." Draco said to Mandy. He grabbed another sugar quill as they passed the display. "Pansy is too used to getting her own way." Draco smiled at Mandy. "Where to next?" He asked.

Draco nodded when Mandy asked about the sugar quills. He loved them. The rock candy lasted forever. "Really though, I like the muggle jawbreakers." Draco admitted. "The big ones the size of a small ball. The kind that takes weeks to finish." He smiled. Draco walked up to the caounter and paid for Mandy's and his own candy. He hoped she didn't mind, he never let a girl pay when she was with him. "Pansy does like me. But she plays games. One day she wants to be around me and the next she expects me to chase her. No Malfoy ever chased a girl." He thought about her question. "I'd like to pick up some new bedding and stuff. Is that okay?"

"Thank you." Mandy said smiling, at Draco. "Cara got one of those one time, but she didn't read it very well, it said it turns you mouth black and she didn't see that so when she was about half way done with it she looked into a mirror and started freaking out because she thought that she was sick." Mandy said shaking her head. "Is she really like that? I don't talk to her, unless I'm being forced. You boys don't chase after anybody? Really?" Mandy asked and nodded "Yeah that's fine." she said and smiled slightly

"Well," Draco said slowly. "I'd chase after you." He laughed. "He released her hand and put his arm around her shoulders. "He liked having her close to him. "Yes Pansy is like that. She treats me like dirt half the time and the other half, she can't keep her hands off me." He shrugged. "I got tired of it after a while." Hr led Mandy out of the store. There was a new home furnishing shop down the road. They walked towards it slowly.
