Dakota nodded in agreement to Draco's words while wondering if he could read her mind, it was just what she had been thinking. "Yes very true. I'm sure our parents would be happy if we became friends," she replied with a soft chuckle. It seemed that the circle of purebloods, especially those that were Death Eaters or believed in the cause. With that thought brought on was the question whether or not Draco believed in the Dark Lord's cause. That question would have to be answered before Kota could decide if they could be friends or allies.
Meals at the Graven household had always been a very informal thing since it was only the two women. So this was rather different from what she was used to but she ate at other's house enough to know what it was like. She sat next to her mother and took a small amount of food before passing each plate to her mother. The young woman waited calmly until everyone had the food they wanted before beginning to eat.

The conversation was slim as everyone ate. Once they were through, it was more then obvious that the parents wanted time to talk. Draco wiped his mouth and stood. "Riding?" He asked. He waited for Dakota and then led the way to the stables. It was sunny outside and a light brezze filled caressed Draco's pale skin and combed through his blond hair. The stables could be seen at the bottom of the slopping backyard. .

As the group finished eating and Draco offered to go riding, Dakota nodded and stood. "Yes that would be nice," she agreed before looking at the boy's mother and father. "Thank you very much for the meal Mr and Mrs Malfoy." She then turned to her mother and leaned down to kiss her cheek before standing and following Draco.
It was beautiful outside and Kota couldn't help but smile slightly. The grounds at her own house at always been her favorite place in her home. Being outside had always been nice and comforting to her, something about the air. "Your parents are really nice," she told Draco, trying to make some conversation.

"They are alright." Draco replied. "Their my parents." He laughted softly. "They are old fashioned. But they are good to me in most cases." He looked over at Dakota. "Your mother seems nice as well. Quite but nice." They had reached the stables. Inside were two rows of stalls. Draco ordered the nearest elf to prepare his horse. "Have you riden before?" Draco asked Dakota. "We have gentle horses if you haven't."

Kota nodded lightly in understand and let out a soft laugh. "Yeah she is nice... she's like my best friend," she replied with a light smile. She wasn't afraid of sounding like a complete dork because of that. After her father died all they had were each other so they had grown very close. As they arrived at the barn Dakota pulled her mind away from her thoughts and to the horses. "I've riden before, I love to ride actually. We have a barn at my house," she replied as she went over to one of the stalls to pet the horse's snout.

A elf approached with Draco's horse. It was a red roan stalion and had an excelent temperment. Draco rubbed it's neck affectionetly. "Well then pick a horse and lets go. Any horse other then the Black Freisan on the end." Draco added quckly. "Thats fathers. No one else rides him." Draco led his horse out into the sunlight knowing that the elves would tack up any horse Dakota choise.

"Okay I'll meet you out there in a bit," she replied as Draco walked out. She first went and pet the Freisan since they were her favorite type of horse before looking at the other horses. She quickly picked a brown Arabian and pointed to him for the house elves to tack. It only took them a few moments and soon Dakota was walking back into the sun to meet Draco. "You have some beautiful horses."

"Thank you." Draco said. He ground tied his horse and then moved to the left side of the Araiban. Daco offered his hand to help Dakota into the saddle and then tightened the girth strap. He moved back to his own horse and mounted quickly. "Horses are a passion of mine. My family took to it as well as you can see." He urged his horse forward and they started off at a brisk walk towards the woods.

Dakota appreciated when Draco helped him up, even if she didn't really need it. It showed that he was a gentleman. She watched as he mounted his own horse as she shifted in the saddle of the horse she was sitting on, finding a more comfortable spot. "Yes I can see. I've always had a passion for horses. My father brought me my first though my mother has never truly been into it." Actually her father had brought her a little pony for her fifth birthday, the same day he was arrested. But she pushed that thought away as she pushed her horse into a walk, following Draco.

Draco listened to Dakota as he led the way into the trees. It was nice and shaded under here. He enjoyed the gentle rocking motion of the horses gait and the sound of their feet hitting the ground. Dakota was getting a treat here although anyone only knowing Draco at this moment would not realize it. Draco was polite and sweet with Pure Bloods, but once he got back to Hogwarts. He was vial and hurtful with the other houses and mub bloods. No one other than Blaize, Pansy, Greg, and Vincent knew this side of Draco. And now Dakota. How many woman at Hogwarts would kill to be where Dakota was right now?
Draco smiled back at Dakota. "My father bought me my first horse as well. After a few weeks, my mother took her first ride and then soon after, my father joined us. Now we keep an eye out for interesting horses, breeds or ones that just interest us." He led the way down towards the smal lake that was on the end of the property. It always seemed to attract wild life.

Dakota eyes wandered over the grounds though every few moments they did return to looking forward to make sure she was a good distance from Draco and still following him. This was calming and was letting her actually talk openly with the other pureblood which she would rarely do. She had always found herself calmest at home when she was taking care of her horses.
"It must be nice to share something with your entire family," she replied lightly though she was actually slighlty surprised, neither of the elder Malfoy's looked like the type to enjoy riding. "So what is your favorite breed?"

"I like skewbal Paint Horses." Draco told Dakota. "It love the mix between colors." They had reached the lake and Draco stopped. On the far side of the little body of water stood a deer and her fawn. Draco watched them look around and then slowly lower thier heads to the water. He smiled a little. Draco loved nature. Alhtough he would never admit it. He was a peaceful guy inside.

Dakota nodded slightly to Draco's response even though she supposed that he couldn't see her. But as she was about to reply her eyes landed on the lake in front of them. She moved the horse she was riding to stop next to Draco so she could have a better view of the surroundings. Kota couldn't help but smile lightly as she saw the deer and fawn on the far side of the lake. It was quite cute. "This is beautiful," she said softly to the boy next to her, quiet enough to not disturb the peaceful surroundings.

Draco nodded his head slowly and turned to look at the girl. It was nice to have someone to share things like this with. Draco's horse snortted and the deer looked up and spotted the humans. Slowly, the deer started off into the woods with the fawn folowing close behind. "What would you like to do now?" Draco asked. "I have quite a collection of muggle movies." He admitted and then blushed. "We could head back to the house?"

Kota didn't notice the boy's eyes on her as she was busy studying the scene. Nature had always been someting she enjoyed. Yes, a girl whose whole goal in life was to get revenge on the Ministry had a soft spot for nature. She watched quietly as the pair of deer walked away, simply letting herself relax in the sounds of the wild. There was nothing quite like it.
As Draco started to talk, Dakota turned her head slightly towards him to show that she was listening without actually looking fully at him. At his first question she shrugged her shoulders lightly only to freeze as she heard the mention of something muggle. She looked at the boy slowly, assessingly. She had assumed that at least his father was a Death Eater, most adults that her mother assosiated with were. So what kind of Death Eater would allow his child to have anything muggle related. "You actually own muggle things? And what is a movie?" That had her stumped, she'd never heard of something like that before. "But sure... let's head back," she added softly as she took one more look around.
